Under the direction of Eloise O'Loghlen, Illuminate Dance Studio commences it's second year in 2019!
Eloise is an experienced teacher and choreographer of both children and adults. She has been trained in the dance styles of Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Lyrical dance. As a dancer of 16 years, Eloise has competed in an extensive number of competitions, performances, events and concerts. A few of her highlights include; ranking in the top 2% in Victoria for VCE Dance, performing her VCE Dance solo at VCAA's Season of Excellence 'Top Class' event and being the top scorer in the state for the Victorian Cecchetti Classical Ballet examination. Eloise is also a four time Australian National Champion in School Aerobics, a qualifier for ATOD’s Australiasian Jazz Scholarships and has performed in 'The Phantom of the Opera' with Windmill Theatre Company and holiday programs, with 'So You Think You Can Dance' star, Pania Taku.
Knowing best dance practice is imperative to a student’s development, this is why Eloise has trained in safe dance practice and has first aid certification. Having studied a Bachelor of Primary Education (Honours) at Monash University, Eloise has learnt about the stages of childhood development and how children best learn. She continually strives to develop her teaching practice by learning new strategies to best target all students, to achieve their fullest potential, whilst embracing students individuality and diverse ways of learning.
Eloise looks forward to teaching your child at Illuminate Dance Studio in 2019!
